I don't know why Italy hesitates to bring Alessandro del Piero in; every time he scores the winning goal. After the shameful loss of Brazil against France, I'm rooting now for my 2nd choice: Italy... It was a great game, short of goals, but full of excitement. So tomorrow Portugal show win and make their first final... This has been a great cup.
Just landed in D.C. and traffic is horrible. It took me about an hour to get a cab, and now I'm seating in it moving at 5mph.
CFUnited's agenda looks amazing, though it has a strong competitor, the World Cup... See you all there.
Man, the Portugal - Netherlands game was wild, tense, exciting... loved it! 18 yellow cards, 4 red cards... a new record for the fifa world cup...
p.s. Go Brazil!
That's right. I've been blogging for a year now ... and it all started out as personal reminders of solutions for specific problems... I really never thought I'd be blogging this frequently and have as much traffic as I do now. Thank you all for making it interesting and challenging sometimes. I hope to create even more controversy this year to come.
Cheers!
If you're using outlook and don't want to miss a single WorldCup game, here's an iCal file you can import with every game in US EST time. My outlook syncs to my cell and now I have the schedule everywhere I go. It's awesome!
In your outlook, choose File Import, iCalendar.
Ray released blogCFC 5 a few weeks ago but I was hesitant to migrate because of all the custom modifications I've done ... I decided to switch today and overall it wasn't that bad ... my CFC's (xml rpcs, fckeditor, ...) worked without any problem at the first trial, thus the only tedious job was to switch my l&f, adwords, and tracking to the new div/css based layout ... I'm sure I will find something I missed, but I'm really happy with the fact it only took me an hours to migrate. Thanks again Ray!
I'm a huge soccer far (go Brazil!), and the World Cup is around the corner... so I thought I'll share this Classic Soccer Commercials link. They're great!
So do you like soccer? who's your team? where are you watching the cup?
It's been almost two weeks since I left ... and there've been great. I spent the first few days at the Ajax Experience... what a show! let me tell you: the best organized show I've talked or assisted. Props to Jay Zimmerman, he did an outstanding job. I spent most of the time there perhaps networking, rather than at the sessions, which I will still be able to catch later in an on-demand webcast. I met great people btw... it had a great attendance.
Changing topics, during my absence, my CFUnited Class sold out... that's right ... if you didn't register yet, I'm sorry... it's too late... Hopefully CFUnited will allow me to post some of the material here, if not, I may disguise some of it ;)
Other news, blogCFC 5.0 is officially out and I'm planning to upgrade soon, maybe this weekend.
CFUnited is blogging too; nothing much going on yet, but stay tooned for important information.
I'm speaking next week at the South Florida CFUG. Topic, more Ajax ... I'll start where I left off in my last session in February.
I'll have a CFLive session in a couple of weeks... briefly showing what I have planned for CFUnited... I hope to see you all there.
That's it for now, more tomorrow.
Cheers.
